The best way to learn something new when you don’t have time is in your car. If you don’t have a car, you can still learn while on the go here is how.
Learn and Improve with Podcasts
Podcasts are free and they can be downloaded to your smart phone, table or computer in audio or video format.
What you want to do is pick one or two areas you will like to improve in the next 30 days and subscribe to the podcast under that category. Then while driving to and from work you can listen to the podcast.
For example:
- EntreLeadership – If you want to learn about leadership
- Take control of your money – To get tips on money matters
- Joel Osteen – To help with your spiritual and mental well being
- The Public Speaker’s Quick and Dirty Tips – for improving your communication
Learn and Improve via Email
Bite size learning via email is helpful for busy people because it allows you to keep learning something new every single day using something you already use. Your email.
How it works is; you will receive one lesson via email each day.
For example, you can:
- learn one new word each day and this will help expand your vocabulary.
- You can also learn one new joke per day to help you in your social engagements.
Learn and Improve via Audiobooks
Audiobooks is the best way to learn on the go (in my opinion). Because is like you reading a good book the only difference is audio.
You can listen to your audio book while doing house shores like cleaning the patio, doing the dishes, or when doing laundry.
My Favorite Audio Books are:
- The 22 Immutable Laws of Marketing
- How to Deliver a TED Talk
- Talk Less, Say More
- You Can, You Will by Joel Osteen
- Take the Stairs by Rory Vaden
Conclusion
With audio you can eliminate the excuse of not having nought time to learn something new today. I challenge you to subscribe to one podcast, or get one audio book form the list above.
